I'm just a in this blogging industry. And my site is only gaining poor traffic. I want to to this site. Therefore, I searched and gathered some useful information on how webmasters increase or attract more unique traffics to their sites.

1. Before publishing a content, it is important to conduct a 'keyword research' to know how the actual searches is working in the search engines. Two examples of that you can use are Keyword Research Tool Keyword Discovery.

2. Create your own with powerful articles and valuable insights. Better check your grammar and spelling. No one is perfect. But strive hard to make your articles understandable.

3. Add tags/keywords or simply use Technorati Tags or Simple Tags everytime you finish your content. Try to use , feedburner and favicon, too.

4. Make the keywords or tags more of 'phrases' rather than 'words'.

5. Add your URL in your profile in Facebook, Friendster, Multiply, Twitter, Youtube and the likes.

6. Join some related to your site and other online social groups. You can join adsense forum, blogwalking, entrecard, reddit, stumbleupon, theoma, seo, onlywire, digg, myLot, widgetbucks, webmasterworld, etc.

7. Submit your site to different search engines like AltaVista, Yahoo, Alexa, Live, Google, Theoma, MSN, , AOL, Netscape, Directories, Webcrawler, Ask, etc.

8. Visit other people's blogs or websites, in return they will also view your site. Add some 'worthy' comments, or else, they will think that you're just them.

9. Try to add fun stuffs to your site such as Picture Gallery, Message Board, Guest Book, Quotes of the Day, Horoscopes, Daily Health & Beauty Tips, Funny Videos, etc. This will make your your visitors stay longer in your site and there will be a higher percent of visitors coming back to your site.

10. Check your site's so you know your standing. With that in mind, you can do something to improve your site.
